Consulting

Hundreds of vendors. Each recommends their own system.
We don't.

After years of experience in the industry, we consult independently of vendors – from AGV/AMR selection to live fleet orchestration. So your automation doesn't get stuck in the vendor jungle.

30min

One free initial consultation is enough for an honest first assessment of your situation.

No pitch · no pressure
What we see every day

Three situations we encounter constantly.

You know that automation would help. Warehouse personnel costs are rising, pressure is growing. But the path forward is unclear – dozens of vendors, each with their own version of the truth, none with a neutral view of your specific problem.

01

"Five vendors. Five presentations. Five different truths."

Each one shows you why their system is the best. None shows you why it might not suit your production at all. That is where we come in: we provide a neutral overview and assess the situation independently of any vendor.

02

"The evaluation drags on – and blocks the decision."

Your organisation has put this topic on the agenda multiple times. Between day-to-day business and a lack of internal expertise, the decision remains open. Months pass. Costs keep running.

03

"In the end, you are caught between the vendors."

You have signed. The vendor delivers. And then you discover that the WMS interface doesn't work as promised. Nobody takes responsibility – because everyone points to someone else. This doesn't happen when someone thinks along neutrally. Like us.

From practice

Two projects. One principle.

Case 01

From a cost question to a concrete decision.

12 forklift operators. EUR 720,000 in annual personnel costs. The question was not whether automation made sense – but which system would actually fit and who could be trusted.

We assessed the transport processes on-site, whether AGVs were even the most sensible solution – and if so, which technology suited the specific workflows. The result: a clear basis for decision-making.

Case 02

Forklift-free production as a board-level mandate.

An international group at a Styrian site with a clear objective: full automation of internal material flow in two production halls – decided at board level.

openmaind developed the concept for forklift-free production, carried out simulation and analysis, and evaluated the technical and practical feasibility.

What we concretely do

Our services.

01 — Consulting

Neutral fleet consulting

We analyse your current situation independently of vendors and systems. You get an honest assessment – not a sales presentation.

02 — Support

System selection & implementation

From RFP to commissioning. We coordinate vendors and ensure that the outcome suits your production – not the other way around.

03 — Orchestration

Fleet orchestration & integration

Fleet orchestration that your team can operate themselves – without a vendor, without external expert teams. We connect AGVs and AMRs from different manufacturers and make automation genuinely practical with AI.
